About the Suffolk NYCLU

The Suffolk County Chapter of the New York Civil Liberties Union serves all of Suffolk County, located on the eastern end of Long Island, New York. Our office is a chapter of the NYCLU, which is an affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union.

We are dedicated to the protection of civil liberties as embodied in the Bill of Rights. Our mission is to protect the constitutional rights of the people we serve through advocacy and involvement in the legislative process and to educate the community about civil liberties issues.
